Once thats been released, they said they may consider an Android client also, and are handing it over to the Devs/Coders.
On another plus note, I sent an eMail to the developer of the iOS App (AppBox Pro) and within 6hrs, he replied, thanking me for my eMail and suggestions, and that whilst they have no current plans to release an Android version, they are working on an iPad version. However THANKS, that is an awesome find, and I hope to try it out soon. With regards to AppZilla, it would be nice if you can custom design it? (I know ya can re-order the icons) but it would be nice if ya can enable and disable some features, those that you dont want to see or use? And there doesnt appear to be a Lite version of the App yet either? The suggested applications do not occupy space in the handset’s memory until they are installed. (C'mon Google, why dont ya jump onto this band-wagon, so we can see Android Market vouchers in our local shops). AppBox offers a selection of applications developed by companies all over the world and also apps selected for you. Unfortunately I cant test it / use it at the moment, as I dont purchase Apps online (dont do any online ordering, if I can help it) Prefer to purchase Vouchers in advance and topup. didnt even know of that App (and apparently it was on iOS too? lol) It seems to have most of what the AppBox had, and more.Īlthough not keen on some of the added programs, as it just makes it look like a cluttered mess of random junk. I've found many Apps that are similar, but yes it takes about 2 to 3 apps, to achieve what AppBox for iOS does in one. :) But I guess every forum has their Roph.Īnyway, guess I'll have to keep looking. However, I will hold my hands up that I am new to this platform, and so if I dont know what I need, then like with most forums, you ask. And you are right, I have come away from Apple (after recieving an iPod Touch, as a leaving gift from my last company) as I do not agree with Apple, and their business model, greed and find Android a fairer system. and as said, its not for want of trying, I've done my searches, and the fact I am an IT Engineer of 15yrs, I know my way around computers and the likes. So again, thank you, least you understand me. :) I am merely asking for help, as I cannot find the answer to my question, hence I thought that is what forums are for, sharing and supporting others with useful information, and so whent he likes of those above, reply in the manner they do. Many thanks for your support, and understanding. I have searched Google Market, and Google search engine, and as of yet failed to find anything like it? However, there maybe Apps out that fit my requirements, and that a seasoned Android user would know of, just like that? So rather than than be SMUG or RUDE to others, when they seek advice (as again, why would I ask if I cannot find?) and it is not for the want of trying. Thank you for your return comment, your second post to my initial question seeking help? And within both of your TWO replies you have neither added anything useful, norr have you attempted to help? Makes me question whether there is any point you actually contributing to peoples posts if you cant help? You say you know of many Apps, but not once have you listed them, when you have had chance too? Mmm?
